Frequently and Unfrequently Asked Questions I’ve never played in a cornhole tournament before, is the World Championship for me? Our event is for players of all levels of experience and ability. Even if you’ve only played a few times, you can play in the World Championship. Who knows, you may get hot and walk away with the cash and championship belts! Even if you don’t, at least you’ll get the cool t-shirt and you will have had a great time. How many games will I play? A lot. Our event is about fun and about cornhole. We want you to get plenty of both. The exact number depends on the number of teams participating, the format chosen and how well you do. Winning teams can play dozens of games to get into the final rounds of the World Championship (Open Doubles). We always try to maximize play time for everyone. We have determined that we will have seven matches guaranteed. My partner for the World Championship would like to play on different teams on Saturday, can we? If you meet the criteria of the other team events on Saturday you will be eligible to play on a different team. You will need to register again either on-line or by using an additional registration form. Can we bring our own boards and bags? All playing equipment (boards, bags, scoretowers) is provided by Cornhole.com. This gives players a consistent playing environment throughout the entire weekend. Can I bring my kids? Absolutely! The Beef O’Brady’s World Championship of Cornhole IV is fun for the whole family. We do our best to provide a family-friendly atmosphere. Be aware, the cornhole events sometimes do last a long time and young ones can become restless. Can I bring a cooler? No, coolers will not be permitted. All beverages will be available at Metro Sports Center. Can I bring my own food? No. A wide variety of delicious concessions will be made available including those delicious buffalo wings from Beef O’Bradys! Are there any restrictions on teams? No. We are trying to determine the best cornhole team in the world. So put your best team together and bring it!
